Delivery & Collection
Delivery within South Africa
The Home Quarter partners with trusted third-party couriers to deliver nationwide from our hub in Johannesburg. Our team is experienced in handling packages with care, ensuring your order arrives safely & as quickly as possible.
We offer outstanding value & consistently fast, reliable service. All products listed as in stock are available for immediate dispatch. Orders are processed on the same or next working day.
Shipping fees:
- Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout for orders over R850
- Orders under R850 will incur a flat delivery fee of R99
Estimated delivery lead times:
- Gauteng: 1–2 working days
- Rest of South Africa: 2–4 working days
Please note:
- Deliveries take place on weekdays only (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays.
- Three delivery attempts will be made to the address provided. If all attempts are unsuccessful, the shipment will be returned to our offices. In such cases, the original delivery fee is non-refundable, & an additional fee will apply for re-delivery.
- Orders that qualified for free shipping will be subject to a delivery fee for any re-delivery attempt.
High-Risk Areas
Due to the ongoing risk of courier van hijackings, deliveries to what the courier defines as high-risk areas are managed differently. As these zones change frequently, the couriers cannot provide a definitive list. In these instances:
- The courier will arrange to wait at the nearest police station during scheduled times for the recipient to collect their parcel.
- Alternatively, customers may provide a different delivery address (within 60km of the original location) or choose to collect from a nearby courier kiosk.
- Free shipping may not apply in certain remote or high-risk areas if surcharges are required by our courier partner.

Collection in Johannesburg
Collections are available from our dispatch point in Paulshof, Johannesburg. To arrange a collection:
- Select "Pick up in store" at checkout.
- Our team will contact you within 24 hours (on workdays only) using the phone number provided. If no number is available, we’ll email you with collection details.
Please note:
- Collections are by appointment only, as The Home Quarter is primarily an online store.
- Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 08h00–17h00. Saturday or public holiday collections can be arranged in advance.

Returns & Order Issues
